Service

A single handed 47 ft yacht lost all electrical power and suffered engine difficulties on

approach to Dart Harbour and requested assistance. Dart ILB and Torbay Lifeboat both

tasked. Vessel escorted into Dartmouth.

Service

Launched to report of a vessel aground in Oil Cove. On arrival confirmed no one on board -

indication is that the vessel has broken adrift from her mooring. Vessel well aground - ALB

returned to station there being no lives at risk.

Service

HM Coastguards heard a May Day call - Torbay and Exmouth Lifeboats searched for an

extended period along and around the possible area of origin. Nothing found and the search

was terminated around 20:30.

Visibility through fog in search area down to a few feet - search based on Radar.

Launched to the Angling Vessel 'Molly Jane' suffering engine difficulties and under tow by

Salcombe Lifeboat. ALB took over tow in Start Bay to return the vessel to Brixham.

A trawler suffered engine room flooding to which Salcombe Lifeboat was launched. In view

of the water ingress problems Salcombe escorted the vessel towards Brixham. Torbay

lifeboat launched to take over the escort from mid Start Bay to Brixham avoiding Salcombe

being too far off station.

Converted Fishing Vessel 'Husky' suffered hydraulic failure resulting in very restricted steering

and requiring assistance to make port. ALB launched to the vessel and escorted them to

Brixham all OK.
