unable to make safe headway. ALB located yacht and put crew aboard to help

sail. That was recovered OK however the yacht then sprung a serious leak
around |

the propeller
shaft and was taken in tow to Kings Quay, Brixham Harbour to ground on the
falling |

was observed behaving erratically from early this morning and was checked
out |

by a passing
fishing vessel. Later '999' calls were received by HM Coastguard resulting
in a |

decision to
launch the ALB. Yacht was found at anchor at the north end of Preston Beach
near |
|
the surf line
and a large rock outcrop. ALB recovered the yacht to Torquay Harbour. |

midnight and 07:00 the wind built to East F6 around the time the yacht set
sail. Wind |

F2 at time of recovery. |
