Search initiated in immediate area and coastline. Vessel out of fuel and taking water. Coastguard shore team and Police Helo assisted in search. Additional Notes Alledgedly the owner made way to shore in an inflatable to get fuel and found safe and well. Winds in the area were Force10 with mountainous seas resulting in the vessel going beam onto the sea and its cargo of timber moving creating an initial list of >20 degs. Some 700 cu mtrs of Timber were lost. Engines were restarted but Lifeboats tasked to escort vessel to Torbay. Additional Notes Plymouth, Alderney and St Peter Port lifeboats plus CG Tug and two helicopters also tasked. Alderney and St Peter Port released. At 04:00 approx a further list to almost 45 degs occurred and more timber lost. Made Torbay at approx 07:00.
