The 16 metre
fishing vessel Emma Jane was taken in tow in the early hours of Monday
morning |

by her sister
vessel. Salcombe lifeboat was launched to assist them into Salcombe around
|
|
07:00. Weather
conditions were such that it was decided to divert to Dartmouth. Again
weather |
|
conditions
presented difficulties with the tow parting on a number of occasions.

Torbay and ALB launched meeting them and transferring the tow around Start
|
|
Point. Emma Jane
towed into the River Dart. |

50 ft off the Southern end of the Mew Stone rocks but anchor not holding. FV

Bosloe got a
line on and held her off the rocks. Transferred to ALB and vessel taken in
tow to |
