Each year at the end of the Dartmouth Regatta the 'Royal Dart Yacht Club' hold races within Start Bay. The entry fees, which are considerable, are donated to the RNLI. As a small thank you - and if operationally possible we take the All Weather Lifeboat to the Club and lead over two hundred yachts out towards the start line before returning home.
