recover an 11 year old boy cut off by the rising tide at Roundham

Head. On arrival
at Savage Hole two lads were observed eight to ten
feet above |

the breaking sea
hanging on to the cliff. They were very cold and wet, Swell |
|
remained from
strong winds in the morning. The ILB Crew recovered them in |
|
three manoeuvres
and returned them to Paignton Harbour where they were |
|
reunited with
their parents. |

hypothermic and had suffered injuries on the rocks. The second lad
|
|
had gone to
the assistance of the first. They were lucky. |
